Hope and supplies for homeless individuals
Every month, Operation Compassion, an outreach ministry of Living Word Worship Center, provides meals, clothing, and hygiene items to men and women experiencing homelessness.
The outreaches are designed to help establish supportive relationships, offer prayer, and impact their lives with the goodness of God through the resources we are able to offer them through our supporters.
Each time we go to the streets of Central Ohio, we distribute Blessing Bags. Blessing bags are filled with soap, shampoo, deodorant, toiletries, and other essential items. We also provide a hot, home-cooked meal.
Additional items such as tents, tarps, blankets, coats, clothes, and shoes are also offered. By building relationship with them, they discover they are worthy of love and can receive healing and hope through Jesus. Through our outreach efforts to the homeless in local communities, our vision is to treat each person we meet with dignity, and remind them of their value and God’s goodness without judgement.

Prayer
Prayer is the foundation to everything we do. You can partner with Living Word Worship Center by praying regularly for our outreach teams and initiatives.
Serve
Come get involved and join the outreach team as we assemble the blessings bags, loading up cars with items that will be taken to the streets, or help prepare or package up their hot meal. For more information how you can participate in serving, please email info@livingwordwc.com.
