Hello Friends,
We have ministry updates for you today. Exciting things are happening and we wanted to take a moment and bring you up to speed on it all. Many of you have been asking and we are so very grateful for all of your support and patience as we transition into what is before us.
In February, we received word that the church building we were renting was being sold and that we would need to relocate. We began the search for a new facility that we could call home for Living Word Worship Center.
We found a new home in the middle of Plain City in the old movie theater at 249 West Main Street, Plain City, OH 43064. We have been holding “work parties” to prepare the building for occupancy and to relocate all of our belongings from the old building to our new space. We are so very thankful for each person who has helped us clean, paint, build, move furniture, and pray with us and for us during this transition. We have gotten a LOT accomplished over the last month and 1/2 or so with the help of so many of you and it has transitioned into a warm, inviting, comfortable place that we believe people will find to be very non-traditional and homey-feeling. We can’t thank everyone enough for their time, energy, labor, resources, and love during this process.
For those who are handicapped or unable to do stairs, we have installed a TV and a camera that will project what’s happening upstairs onto the TV on the lower level and we 
have seating available. We do hope and intend to be adding a chair lift in the near future.
Once we are officially open, we will begin each service at 6 pm with a potluck-style dinner together and fellowship. We will then begin the worship and ministry time around 7 pm.
We are now in a “holding phase”, waiting on our occupancy permit before we can open the doors to the public. We met with the engineer and now it’s in the hands of an architect who is putting the final touches on the drawings we need to submit to the city. Please be praying with us for this process to move along so we can open our doors soon. We would like to be open to the public by June or sooner. Although there have been delays in moving forward, we believe that is about to break and the newness God has for each of us will come forth.
We can’t wait for you to be able to join us when we relaunch! So be watching for an announcement to come soon, letting you know the date we will officially open again! Thanks for your patience!
