Potluck – Sunday, April 10
You all know by now that we love to have food and fellowship. We invite you to join us this Sunday, April 10
immediately following the service for burgers and chicken cooked on the grill by Matt Stricker (Thank you, Matt!). If you are able, please bring a side dish to share. If you are not able, please don’t let that stop you from joining us! We welcome you and would love to eat and fellowship with you!
Leadership Meeting – Sunday, April 10
Following the meal, we will hold a leadership planning meeting. Leaders, please plan to come ready to share the community events you have planned between now and July 2022 so we can get them added to the calendar.
Easter Sunday – Sunday, April 17
We invite you and your friends and family to come celebrate Easter with us! Come encounter His love and lets celebrate the new life He has given us through Jesus!
Homeless Outreach – April 23
Homelessness looks different for everyone and unfortunately, we are seeing more of it all around us. Some live in their cars while others live in a tent, yet others don’t even have a tent to protect them from the wind, rain, sun, and other elements.
Our next Homeless Outreach will be Saturday, April 23 at 11 AM. We are switching from handing out Fall and Winter items, over to Spring and Summer items. Some of the items we currently need include:
- Bottled Water
- Bandages
- Wet wipes
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Sunscreen
- Tuna & cracker packs
- Bug Wipes (repellant) – not the spray
- T Shirts (men and women – M, L, XL, XXL)
- Toilet Paper
- Granola Bar or Cereal Bars
- Chapstick
- Flashlights with Batteries
- Note of encouragement
- Tents
If you would like to donate any of these items, please place them in the Outreach room at the church between now and Sunday, April 17 so we have adequate time to determine what items we may need yet before the day of the Outreach. Village – Wide Garage Sale – Saturday, April 30th
We will be participating in the Village-wide Garage Sale on Saturday, April 30th and are currently accepting donations of items for this event. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to help with the set up on Friday, April 29, tear down after the sale, or to work at the sale. Please see Courtney Stricker if you would like to participate in any capacity.
If you have items you would like to donate, they can be brought to the church and placed on the tables in the fellowship hall. Please ensure these items are clean, usable, and in good working order.
