4/28/19- Holy
When we position ourselves in a place where we admit that God is holy, a spiritual shaking begins. Even if we don’t feel the tremors at first, the impact is inevitable. The seraphim that surround the throne of God announce, day and night, for eternity, this one word. Holy…holy…HOLY. Not because they are forced to. Not because they are mindless. But because every time they say it, they have found a new reason to declare it; over and over, only able to respond with this one word for eternity amidst the full glory of His holiness.
When we say this word, when we declare this truth with our mouths, the holy quaking begins. The Holy Spirit lays claim to these spoken words and fills them with Himself. He empowers the words so when we take our eyes off our own circumstances and can focus on worshiping Him when we drop everything to seek His face, we ourselves are changed! Each time we declare “Holy”, we agree with heaven! We may come into worship with heavy burdens, anxiety, ailments, and fears, but when we cry that He is Holy over those things, our Lord responds to us. He whispers back, “I Am…”
This whisper scares every ungodly thing that tries to hold us back! When we say “Holy”, we declare that God is big enough! He is strong enough! He is worthy to take every sin of mankind and is more than capable of covering every circumstance. So as we repeat this statement, “Holy, Holy, Holy” we echo heaven and the impact drives into our spirit deeper and deeper, because each time, God quakes heaven and earth with his response, “I Am… I Am… I AM!” The spirit realm trembles in the ace of true worship, the enemy flees and the Holy Spirit is invited to breathe life and healing into our lives and strengthens the foundations of our faith. I AM… I AM…I AM!
