Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?
Jesus came so that we don’t have to be pierced with sin and judgment but that we could be set free by the reconciling of ourselves back to the Father and that we could receive the gift of righteousness in Christ. He doesn’t want you to be sick and tired of being sick, He wants you totally healed!
John 16:7-12 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
7 However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].
8 And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment:
9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me [trust in, rely on, and adhere to Me];
10 About righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to My Father, and you will see Me no longer;
11 About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged and condemned and sentence already is passed upon him.
12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.
You Are Holy, Worthy, and Good!
He is convicting us of His righteousness in us, not depending on what we do. He is trying to engrave in us that we are righteous and good in Him. Sure we may mess up, sure we may even sin, but His goodness and grace trumps sin every time.
You don’t have to live down and out, believing life will always be that way, living like you messed up and things will never get better.
Hebrews 5:11-13
11 We have much to say about this topic, although it is difficult to explain because you have become too dull and sluggish to understand. 12 For you should already be professors instructing others by now, but instead, you need to be taught from the beginning the basics of God’s prophetic oracles. You’re like children still needing milk and not yet ready to digest solid food. 13 for every spiritual infant who lives on milk is not yet pierced by the revelation of righteousness.
You can not become righteous.
Righteousness is not anything you can earn. You can not do a 10 step program to become righteous. You are righteous through Him. Know Him, be with Him, listen to Him and believe in Him and His righteousness in you.
Before you were saved you did good and bad works. You also loved and you hated. All the while, none of those things changed the status of your righteousness or your status of salvation.
Now that your saved, you do good works, slip up and make mistakes and sometimes you do bad things. But He paid the price so that your status still does not change. It is not what you do, it is all about Him. He is our salvation and our saving grace.
Realizing it is not anything about you, but all about Him, then you will learn that you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously, laugh a little at your mishaps, but then take what He did seriously. You are free from sin and death and now you live by the Spirit of Life!
Romans 5:9 (Romans: Grace and Glory – The Passion Translation)
9 And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God.
It becomes you when you become pierced with this understanding. You begin to walk as a new creature and do things that a new creature would do.
When you become pierced with this revelation, the New Creature begins having the confidence to do what the Father is doing.
The gift of righteousness and grace is given so you can give, show His goodness, and release others into goodness to the place that they fear Him. Can you imagine giving so much grace and mercy and releasing so much favor to others, that they will fear Him?
Psalms 67:7 (NKJV)
7 God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him.
That is hard to imagine, but that is how much He wants to bless you!
That is how much He loves you! He wants to heal you, bless you, and overwhelm you with His goodness!
In 2012, I had an episode with my heart.
I knew it was a demonic attack as I had an encounter leading up to it.
I had an encounter after a conference we were holding. In this encounter, a demon lifted me off the bed in my hotel room and was pressing me against the ceiling. I could feel the breath leaving me and my chest was in excruciating pain. It felt as though my spirit was being pressed out of my body. It took all my strength but I began telling it to lay me back down in Jesus name. Lay me back down in Jesus name. And I repeated until I was back in my bed.
I knew this was an attack on me but didn’t have any understanding until one day I awoke to major chest pain that would not leave. It lasted for a couple days so I decided to go the ER and they did all of their tests and couldn’t find anything. So they scheduled a cardiologist appointment for a follow up the next week.
I was still in pain and seeking the Lord for healing. I spent 3 days searching the scripture on healing but He kept sending me scriptures about righteousness, and how He created me good. He loved me no matter what I had done, what I was doing, or what I would do in the future. He would never leave me or forsake me.
I found out God wanted to heal me.
He wanted me to see His righteousness in me. Holy Spirit kept giving me scriptures about how I was reconciled before I even came to Him. He reconciled me while I was yet in sin. I was made worthy through Christ to receive all of His goodness, including healing.
He was piercing me with the revelation of righteousness and was telling me I am so good in His eyes, acceptable and a joint heir with Him.
He continued giving me scriptures of that revelation for 3 days until the third day I finally received it. I was awakened and resurrected on the third day! The pain had left and I knew I was healed!
I went ahead and went to the cardiologist so I could have the proof to myself that God healed me! And yes, I got a clean bill of health!
My healing had come through the revelation of believing I was worth it, I was totally forgiven for all my faults, and was seen as good as Jesus in God’s eyes through His blood.
I have seen hundreds of people healed due to this revelation being poured out everywhere we go. There was a blind man in Kenya who received his sight through this revelation. I have seen a lot people who were able to forgive others as they knew they were totally forgiven and then they were healed of fibromyalgia and other pain issues.
When you recognize the goodness of God toward you, it causes you to receive His goodness and part of that goodness is His healing power.
The more you study how much God has made you whole and how much He loves you, the more you will recognize your identity in Christ as a joint heir.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the gift of righteousness. Thank you for putting me in complete right standing with you. Thank you for every wiping away every failure, every sin, past, and future. I’m so thankful that now all you see is Jesus in me. I am the righteousness of God through Christ!
I am worthy and holy through Jesus and I love you, Papa! Thank you for healing me of every form of sickness right now in Jesus name! Amen!
