What do you believe?
Are you hurting, sick or depressed? Read this post and become healed and free!
If you are dealing with anything that is not of the Kingdom like depression, sickness & disease or poverty, then you are probably secretly telling yourself many negative messages every day. From the moment you get out of bed until you lay down, you may be listening to your mind tell you any of the following:
You don’t have what you need
You don’t have what it takes
You need to have more education
You need to look different
You’re always going to be sick
This is what you deserve
You need to learn to be content in this situation
The enemy loves to fill us with lies about our circumstances. He may speak something that is true, but it is not the truth. Those thoughts compared to God’s thoughts and words are what I call friction.
We need to deal with that friction. That friction is where our breakthrough is.
Depression is a very deep internal assumption of one’s self. Assuming your life is a mess, you don’t have enough, people don’t understand and they treat you differently, your vision will never work and it seems nothing in your life is working. You just want to give up.
No matter what the issue is, healing or mental weariness, it’s all a matter of friction. Believing what you are thinking. If you believe your negative thoughts, that is creating that reality for you. Most of the time you don’t have enough because you believe that you won’t have enough.
If you begin grabbing a hold of those negatives thoughts and start believing in God’s word and what He has for you, you will see you are already blessed, you are already restored and you are already flawless.
Colossians 1:19-23
For God is satisfied to have all his fullness dwelling in Christ. And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is restored brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!
21-22 Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored!
The Kingdom of Heaven is life abundantly and He wants you to experience that right now here on earth.
If we do not have the right belief system happening in our mind, we can end up in all of those negative expressions of life.
Remove the friction!
Ephesians 4:20-25 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
20 But you did not so learn Christ!
21 Assuming that you have really heard Him and been taught by Him, as [all] Truth is in Jesus [embodied and personified in Him],
22 Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion;
23 And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude],
24 And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one body and members one of another.
Do not let your mind tell you otherwise! You are good and you are righteous in Jesus. It’s not about you, but all about Jesus and what He accomplished for you. You are blessed. You may be seeing some difficulties right now, but if you can scrounge up enough faith and apply it where He leads you, the breakthrough is right before you.
To see fruit, you have to take risks! You have to become a risk taker! Learn to go out on a limb and get the fruit. That’s where it is at.
Faith is only productive in the areas you know God is good!
You only extend your faith to the things you are aware of. And you will only bear fruit from the revelation you have gained through faith in production.
If you receive God’s righteousness and realize it is a gift, you can now give that as fruit and see others changed. If you receive love (which you do from God) even though you did not deserve it, you are able to give it to someone who may not deserve it and see it change their lives. You have to take a risk! Faith involves risk. Going out on a limb is where the fruit is.
You can not stop because of failure, pick it up and keep going!
Einstein said, I learned not from 10,000 failures, but I learned what did not work and that’s how to succeed.
To see fruit we have to take risks! We have to become risk takers! Learn to go out on a limb and get the fruit, that’s where it is at. Whether it be business, healing, prophetic.
Ecc 11:4 do not let the “what ifs”, circumstances or the voices, stop you from receiving more.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God, so in other words, our faith creates the image of God in us through the hearing of His word, Jesus. We can only have faith for what we know of Him, that is Jesus.
Hebrews 10:35 (Amplified Bible – AMP)
35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.
Confidence means a feeling or belief that someone or something is good or has the ability to succeed at something
God is good! When we know God is good in a particular area, our faith can manifest that promise. Our relationship with Jesus produces the faith that brings manifestation.
Jesus is the Word. If we hear from Him, our faith produces what we heard. Jesus only did what He heard the Father saying. With a real relationship with Jesus, we will hear and that faith that rises up will produce the promise.
So what do you believe?
Do you believe you are supposed to just get by or have just enough?
May you believe you are sick because God is teaching you something new?
Or you believe you are depressed because you were just made that way?
These are all lies straight from the pit of hell. You were created for greatness! You were created to be full of health, life, and prosperity! That is who you are. You are His child and a joint heir of everything in this earth and beyond.
Matthew 9:27-30 (The Message)
Become What You Believe
27 As Jesus left the house, he was followed by two blind men crying out, “Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!” 28 When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, “Do you really believe I can do this?” They said, “Why, yes, Master!”
29 He touched their eyes and said, “Become what you believe.” 30 It happened. They saw. Then Jesus became very stern. “Don’t let a soul know how this happened.”
Matthew 9:27-29 (Matthew: Our Loving King – The Passion Translation)
27 As Jesus left the house, two blind men began following him, shouting out over and over, “Son of David, show us mercy and heal us!” 28 And they followed him right into the house where Jesus was staying. So Jesus asked them, “Do you believe that I have the power to restore sight to your eyes?” They replied, “Yes Lord, we believe!”
29 Then Jesus put his hand over their eyes and said, “You will have what your faith expects!”
A man is as he thinks he is, or he becomes what he believes.
Begin to really believe for the new to be awakened within you!
Prayer
Father, I release all of the negative thoughts and cycles of thoughts that race through my mind and I take up the mind of Christ that is full of love and power and it is sound. Full of Kingdom thoughts!
I choose to believe all that you say about me and I receive the goodness of your being. I receive healing and I receive the fullness of joy that breaks off depression! Thank you for my freedom from the things of this world and I take on the things of your kingdom that is life abundantly.
Thank you for prospering me as I receive healing in my soul and for favor with man and god. I receive the breakthrough of Your presence in the dark areas of my mind and life! All things become new. In Jesus name, Amen!
